Joint's or a Waterbottle?

I got a 10 today, and I haven't toked in awhile, so I want this to be a special occasion. The weed is already rolled into joints, but I want to know, should I use a water bottle? I think I would get higher if I used a water bottle, but I want to make sure first.

I'm wondering if he just means should he plug the joint into a bottle, like the lower side, creating a larger area for smoke to build.
