I am too watching the Grammy's, and I'm actually enjoying this tribute to Janis. Good version of 'Piece of my heart"

Piece of my Heart wasnt too bad. Etheridge got the signature Janis "yell" down pretty good but I dont think that other girl doing Cry Baby was that great.

Ya, Joss Stone was never in my book as very good, but I have always admired Ethridge as a good musician.

it´s right, piece of my heart was good... and cry baby wasn´t..... maybe if it would have been another song... piece of my heart was a good choice but cry baby?? maybe another would have been better.....

I hate how the media compares any white woman with soul "the next Janis Joplin"...I read an article in some newspaper comparing Joss Stone to Janis Joplin. First of all, Melissa Etheridge was the good one, not Stone. And Stone has a better voice than a lot of female stars today, but it's not outstanding, certainly not of Janis-caliber...oh well. Etheridge was good though :). Most people can't pull off Janis at all...

I thought both did well, but I think Ethridge had the better vocals for a Janis song.
