I want to tell you for one tradition in my country,Bulgaria.Once, in one of the bulgarian cities,Varvara, Uriah Heep had to come there for a concert.But they didn't come and the public waited for them the whole night.So, every year, the night between 30 june and 1st july, the hippies celebrate July Morning on the bulgarian beaches.We light a fire, we play the giutar and we beat a drum, we dance and we sing the whole night.When the sun rise, we get into the water and we watch the sunrise.It's a wonderfull experience.What do you think?
I am from Bulgaria too. I was twice in Varvara to wait for the Sunrise of 1st July. It's a great feeling when a thousand people from all Bulgaria shared tge sense of community, peace and friendship. The Phenomen "July Morning" was created before near 30 years from the young underground rock-fans in the time of the communist dictatorship and July Morning was the biggest form of protest against the sistem. The second event was "The Wall of John Lennon": every year in the evening of 8th December (Lennon was killed then) in city center of the Bulgaria's capital Sofia the young hippies painted with pictures and messages the wall of the local notary's office. They dedicated their graphitti to John, Jim Morrison, Janis and Hendrix. The next day the communist government painted again in ordinary way the wall. So this heppened year after year
