Yeah its an odd idea alright, I was up late last night, smoking a toke and looking up at the stars and for some reason the thought entered my mind for a new guiness record, what if a group of people could collect 1 dread from as many dreadys as they could from all over the world, Tie them together in a long strand and see if we could pull off the longest tied together strand of dreadlocks known to mankind, Its just a thought..... what do you think?

yeah i would but, then i would have to cut off a dread, mine are quite thick and then my head would look kinda stupid
"regrettably that would mean having to cut off one of your dreads for nothing more than bragging rights, shared bragging rights" who said anything about bragging, I just thought it would be wicked to create a rope made of dreads abd as for loosing 1 dread, people would survive im sure, I get rid of dreads all the time, at ceramonies, whenever someone close to me dies, its just hair.
If I were to agree to that, it would have to be for something more meaningful than a world record. Maybe some kind of war protest, or human rights awareness, or something like that. To get our name in a book isn't really worth it, in my opinion.
Okay everyone the guiness records was an example more then anything, but all the replys are awsome, I just thought a 200km/+ rope of dreads would be rad ass regardless of what the reason may be.
