So i decided to become a veggie a few days ago after a lot of thought.

You see I was a veggie whilst I was travelling around India and Nepal and that was really easy since the meat is poor quality and the veggie food is some of the best on the planet...But when I got back I stopped and started eating meat again because my family would make me a roast dinner and i didn't really want to feel rude.

Now after a couple of months of being back i've decided that I actually felt more healthy when on a veggy diet so thats my reason for becoming one again. Unusually it doesn't have much to do about animal cruelty it's mainly because I feel humans were designed to eat veggies and not meat (or very very littel meat). I feel eating meat is quite unnatural. Actually now I don't like the idea of roast beef or chcken or anything like that because it just reminds me of flesh and so I find it rather repulsive...I'm not sure if other people find that?

Anyway, i've done my research and I know what foods I should be eating. But one thing i'm totaly stumped on is where to get my source of B12 without taking any supplements.
Also can someone explain the animno foods I should be getting and what foods I can and should be combining to get them? And what about the essential aminos? Where do i get these from?

Finally is there any warning signs I should watch out for that would be indicative of inadequate diet?

    Thanks.

    Pete

I don't know where to get B12 without supplements, but it's supplemented in lots of food I eat anyway. Lots of cereals, soy milk and other things will have it. Take a look at the labels.
As for amino acids, i think soy, whole wheat, flax, and cannabis are good sources. You might want to double check that.. I get mixed up between fatty acids and amino acids. :p

flax and hemp are great omega acids. Hemp seed nuts are great in soy yogurt and granola. Be careful not to heat flax ol (and I think the same goes with hemp oil too)..kills the good stuff
