just been told ive got spd.

    ive just got back from the phisio who told me ive definatly got symphasis pubis disorder. :( :(:( im going to be on crutches for the next 14 weeks. yay. im 26 weeks now and i cant even walk into town which is 5 minutes away before im in agony. ive got these two huge support belts to wear to help but they are so hot and right now im really not a happy mom to be. sorry for the rant people.

    anyone else out there had this or haveany tips to make it bearable?

    aww I'm very sorry to hear that... Wish I could offer some advice but I've never heard of it before. I hope everything gets better soon!

    its a condition where the loosning of the pelvic ligaments that let the baby be born goes into overdrive and happens too early, resulting in the two bones that join at the front of the pelvis rubbing together and hurting like hell pretty much all the time...they hurt when i walk, they hurt when i lay in bed, they hurt when i sit on a chair...lol, i guess you gotta laugh right.

    It might cheer you up that SPD is a German party and I really had to laugh when I saw your thread title... :p

    Sorry to hear you're suffering...:( *HUGS* So, does this go back to normal though, or what happens after you have the kid?
