just curious...

as to why my horoscope is never right for me..
it never seems to add up.. at all really..

Sometimes our Sun sign represents what we are destined to BECOME. For instance, a shy and quiet person might not relate to their sign of Libra. But in the future, when they BECOME their sun sign, and grow into it, they will relate to it.

 

Sun signs can be deceiving. Your sun might be near a cusp in which case you will be heavily influenced by the neighboring sign. Also where are your other planets, esp personal planets Merc, Moon, Venus and Mars? Ascendant will be a strong influence. Also, when you're young you might be in a phase of experimentation or rebellion from your true self. Then there are the influences of transits and progressions. If you were born in the Southern Hemisphere maybe Sidereal Astrology would work better for you. Lots of factors. It's a complex question. You've got to start with the whole chart and get into studying it.

 

I've found that if a person isn't born exactly in the middle of their sign, they will often have influences from the previous or following sign that they are close to

For example: an Aries born before April 2nd or 3rd will have more of a Piscean influence, one born after April 2nd or 3rd will have more Taurean energy to their character

I do agree that often the moon or ascendant will have more of an influence than the sun sign as well

Yes, i do feel you'll notice alot of Taurean attributes if you're born toward the end of may

All the dualistic signs already carry opposing attributes (pisces, gemini, libra) so you've got to throw that into the mix as well - those "good" and "evil" twins existing within the same sign, hehe

 

I thought the dual signs were Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces?

 

Not sure why Virgo and Sag would be considered dualistic, but it's easy to see why Libra is - those two sides of the scale, Gemini are the twins and Pisces have those two pesci(!) fish to deal with, hehe

I got confused for a minute because I thought I remembered Sagi, Gem, Pisces and Virgo as being the 4 dual modality signs, and then I looked it up and saw that they were but I didn't realize what you meant

 

Yeah, not so much speculating, as speaking from years of experience, working with peeps of all different signs
