switched to sodium lights yesterday but on 2 or 3 or the plants it looks like the edges of the leaves are drying a little are curling in. someone told me it might have to do with watering, but can someone tell me how much i am supposed to water now that they are under sodium?
I like to let the soil dry pretty much compleatly between waterings. If unsure if soil is dry test the weight of container. cheack every day untill you have a sense of how long it takes. If you find yourself having to water more then every other day you proboly need larger containers.
could the issue with the leaves be because of too much water or not enough? when in the veg stage we watered probably every day, was that normal or do the plants need less now that they are in flowering stage?
How far away from the plants is your HPS, they run much hotter than Cfls and need a couple of feet between them and the plants=>) put your hand under the light, if it feels hot to you think what would happen if you had to sit there all day=>D
^good advice, too close could cause the curling. What size containers are you useing? I feel that plants drink a little more in flower then veg., but hard to say because I veg in 1 gal. pots and I flower in 2 gal. pots, in both cases I water about every 3 days.
