Anybody catch it? Tonight was the first episode. Very impressive. I'll be looking forward to watching this unfold each week. x
Interesting show. I can't turn it off. Gregg was impressive tonight. Would never let my child be on the show though.
I like how most of you guys have kids that are the right age to go on the show and I myself am the right age for it. Whoa you guys are like as old as my parents.
that Michael kid is very hip, Sophie is too I kinda wonder if some of those kids are Rainbow kids...seen some various groups of Rainbow kids set up their own kitchens at Gatherings before & the younger of the kid kitchens did a really good job & the teens did a fairly decent job too, but little kids at Gatherings usually can get the adults to help them out, whereas the teens don't usually want any help from elders
That little Taylor is going to shoot her mouth off again in the next episode. Tears will only save her once. She needs to get voted off the council and spend her days scrubbing the outhouses. Learn about REAL democracy. x
We were gonna watch episode 101 on the web for Lord Of the Flies (we're like doing all that stuff) It didnt work... Instead we got the whole class saying "Does anybody have any problems with killing the chickens?" in that american voice. Funny in a way...
LOL There's a very similar concensus here about Taylor...the kids should revolt & get Taylor off the council
i was just watching it for the first time. the only thing i could think was "fuck, this could turn into lord of the flies." however, i'm okay with that. i think adults and challenges and shit should be removed completely, the kids should be left to fend for themselves with hidden cameras all over the place. they'd form their own political parties, religion, etc. but eventually people would definitely be killed. and possibly eaten. what i'm saying is, good idea, but the options are 1. let the kids kill each other or 2. involve the outside world and remove the whole point of the show. in the current form, option #2, they're not really forming their own community, just a miniature version of the one they have in real life.
