my cat has this each winter. We buy a few more cans (oily food) than usual and that helps some. I also wipe him down with a warm, damp washcloth. this does not thrill him, but I can breathe for a while (allergic). maybe treat your cat to some oily sardines?
I'd think that would dry out skin more. And my cat would plot to murder me for such an action! just let your cat have some really fatty treats. My neighbor gives his dog grease from breakfast meat.
you could coat some dry cat food in a little bit of olive oil.......its good for the skin and coat. ive never done it for my cat but my dogs love olive oil.
Rosco is good in the tub. I will try giving him more treats but he isn't in the treat mood lately. How about some milk or something? Or tuna?
