Kratom - Incredible

Howdy, everyone.

Everyone out there who likes weed, give this herb a good try.

As someone who has been smoking indica for a fair amount of time, I've found it to start getting a bit boring (and finding sativa strains is tough here).

Tonight, however, my roommate and friend decided to try some Kratom. This herb is a LEGAL psychoactive, and it's QUITE cheap. You can buy an ounce for approximately $10 to $15.

My friend took an ounce (28 grams) and boiled some water in a microwave, and put the Kratom leaves into the water, and repeated the boiling 5 more times, letting it sit for about 30 minutes total. Then, we decanted the soaked water, which was now in the form of a drinkable tea. This was a VERY simple process, ANYONE could do it.

Unfortunately, the tea was very foul-tasting. However, there are ways to make it taste very good; perhaps checking out Erowid would yield some good results.

Anyway, we split the tea up and each drank half (14 grams per person). Within minutes, we were feeling a small effect.

15 minutes later, a WAVE of euphoria just hit us, it was crazy. Shortly afterwards, we felt almost EXACTLY like we were stoned on indica, but we WEREN'T forgetting things or being stupid. We were very clumbsy and disoriented, but mentally, we could hold detailed intellectual conversations perfectly, even though we were in a stoned-ish state.

After it really started kicking in (30 minutes after drinking), we went for a run around campus. Somehow, the run lasted a very long time, but this run was INCREDIBLE. As someone who dislikes exercise (haha), I have NEVER experienced something as great as that run, in the form of exercise. We ran ALL THE WAY around campus, and if it weren't for the fact that my ankle was beginning to hurt, we probably would have run again. Around campus is something like 3 or 4 miles for us.

We were (and still are, at the time of this writing) extremely energetic.

This is insane. I am completely and utterly euphoric, I have only ever felt as good as I feel now once before in my life, and that was on my second salvia divinorum trip. This is just remarkable ...

I recommend this to all of you. Go out, buy a half ounce of Kratom, and try it yourself. This is just astounding. I cannot believe the results. I do believe I will actually come to prefer this to marijuana.

The effects are supposed to last for up to 8 hours, and I don't know what I'm going to do for the next 6!

If you are bored of indica, bored of the extreme tiredness and lack of energy, bored of not being able to converse, bored of red-eye, bored of high prices and underground dealing and the possiblity of drug lacing, TRY KRATOM.

It is 100% legal, and it feels EXACTLY like being stoned on indica, but you're able to think clearly, and there is TONS more euphoria.

God, this is just ... oh man ... ... so good ...

Oh, man ... jeez laweez ... woke up this morning and was STILL so high and euphoric ... TelimTor agreed, and went to class like that; took his test like that. =P

Yeah, this stuff blew HBWoodrose and Morning Glory seeds out of the water. Also definately tons better than BC Dro Bud and Wild Dagga Flowers.

Well, you've sold me. I need to try this. How does it smell when you boil it?

 

You don't boil it; boil the water first, THEN put the leaves in the cup and shake well (no being a pussy and stirring it haha).

Either way, highly recommended that you add a flavour enhancer ... sugar, salt, what-have-you, just add SOMETHING to take the horribly bitter taste away, and have a soda or something on-hand (TelimTor and I found that a bottle of Diet Pepsi is great for removing the aftertaste if you drink it right after you drink some of the Kratom tea.

did you purchase this over the net or in pennsylvania? because i am from PA and if there is a store around here thats selling it i'll probably go pick some up, also..where do you goto school in pa?

 

I'm actually not in PA anymore, I'm in NY. Have to change that ... moved to college, the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Haven't tried them, unfortunately. But Kratom is definately worth a go.

It certainly was nothing like salvia. =P An infinite amount closer to cannabis than salvia. =)

 

I never experienced anything like that...hhmmm will have to try again.

 

im not down for using the whole OZ though. the passion flower can be smoked like ciggs for a sedative buzz, i was wondering if that was worth it. i'll look more into this kratom> im getting mixed reports (its awsome, it does nothing)

would microwaving effect it? or do u jsut boil teh weater in microwave, not the plant in teh water.

 

Put the water in the microwave for a couple of minutes before you mix in the leaf.

Nah, I wouldn't say there were any hallucinations; it wasn't like a trip. Things were percieved a little differently, but it wasn't quite as bad as being stoned off of weed.

Mostly it was the euphoria, physical stoned feeling, and mental clearness that I appreciated. And the energy. (Oh, the energy ... ).

Either way, I suppose I ought to add a disclaimer. The effects I experienced, according to erowid and other sites, seem to be more potent than what most other people experience, and some claim to get nothing from it at all. I haven't been able to detect truth or reason behind any statements, so don't go out and try to deal Kratom based solely on what I said I experienced. At the very least, try one or two uses before you buy in larger quantities.

 

I just ordered some, I hope it is as good as you say.

Good observation, BTM. I was wondering why there were so many reports of Kratom not working for people ...

Either way, while I can't personally guarantee you'll get true Kratom, I am under the impression that iamshaman.com (where the Kratom I tried was ordered from) grows their own Kratom. This vendor also sells the actual Kratom tree, which you can grow, so I am assuming that if they are selling the trees, they must have the trees themselves, and harvest the leaves from those trees by hand (I believe they claim to do so, but I am not sure). I've had no problems whatsoever with anything that was ordered from iamshaman.com, and they have one of the best reputations for vendors I have ever seen, so I highly recommend you order from them.

I also want to point out that recently I discovered there are two types of Kratom leaves (both grown from the same plant, apparently at different maturation levels): leaves with red veins underneath, and leaves with white/green veins underneath. Popular lore suggests that red-veined leaves are more potent, but that white-green veins still contain mitragynine, the active ingredient, just in lesser quantities. I do not know what colour the veins were from the iamshaman.com product; perhaps if you order from there, you ought to ask them, and it would also be a good idea to e-mail them beforehand asking for detailed information about the Kratom tree and leaves it produces, and then comparing it to other research.

Either way, little is actually known about Kratom at this point, so research is a bit hard, and since many people have very varied effects, research isn't growing very quickly. =\

 

Yeah, I did order from them, but it's too late to find out what color veins cuz I already sent the check. Oh well.
