I'm pretty much a regular here, for the past few years. So I'm wondering, if anyone had suddenly not seen me around for a while, would you think to contact me and ask if I'm okay?

Or if you knew I wasn't around for a personal reason, would you let concerned people know?

It happened with forum member Wisp, I would imagine it could happen with you if you are close to one or two of your friends here. If you aren't close to any of your friends here people would just wonder silently I guess.

 

Thanks jared, lol. I'm actually very good right now. I post sporadically.

Tyrons- well I used to be close with a few people here but not so much anymore. That actually makes me sad when I come on here, but oh well. Wondering silently sounds decent enough I suppose. I have no friends.

I notice when people are missing...even some I don't like. I miss them like I'd miss a toothache.

I don't notice people gone missing as much now as I used to, just the ones I am close with. But when I do know the whereabouts of someone, if they are banned, I keep the conversation regarding them to PMs, but if they aren't, then I'll often answer questions about them publicly in whatever thread the subject comes up in. I just hope some did the same for me when I was on my little "vacation" there awhile back.

Exactly. Some of us have don't have any friends in real life either, nor have ever had a partner... lol

I think I am close enough to a tiny amount of people on here, that I would notice if they were gone for a significant period of time on the forums. I dunno whether I would address that visibly on the forums though...

 

Problem with message boards is tthat they are not a static entity. People come and ago at the drop of a hat for a variety of reasons. I personally have no way of contacting anyone here and in turn they have no way of contacting me.

 

I often wonder the same thing on here. If people would miss me. I take mini-vacations from here when the posts become uninteresting (which, they've been getting kinda dull lately, guys...I suggest we do something about that... )

I keep in touch with a few people via email, however, they aren't frequent posters here anymore...but they were awesome when my father passed away, since most of them kept up with my blog on blogspot.

 

I would miss you, not sure why. I have to agree that the post are getting pretty dull. Lets all try to do something about this.

 

I do, but my friends are all pretty far from where I live now so I don't see them anymore. No transportation.

I've used this one for a long time. I think it was actually the first one I made but lost the password for a while back and that's when I had the different one. Sorry my current one disappoints
