But a $210 bracelet is not something I would want a guy to buy me.
Its just too much.

I agree an over $200 bracelet is a bit much. I mean, it's just a bracelet.
I don't like them, personally. But that's just my taste. I usually go for the more glittery things on the off-chance I actually wear jewelry, and I HATE bracelets. Don't need shit hanging off my wrist when I'm doing stuff. Around my neck, fine. On my ears, fine, as long as it doesn't get caught in my hair. I don't even wear rings much anymore (save my engagement ring). I just don't like a little dangley stuff on my arms getting in the way of what I'm doing with my hands, getting caught on stuff... Ick.

but as a keepsake or heirloom, it's kinda neat, i guess.
my friend got my eldest daughter a sterling silver teething ring. it's beautiful and kai adored it. she chewed the bejeezus outta the thing and since it had a little bell inside i could find her wherever she's crawled off to while i was doing dishes. joey used it, too. now it's a christmas tree ornament.

maybe you should get that.
