Hi everyone I wasn't sure where to post this so if it's the wrong place sorry in advance. I was wondering if anyone has 5 to 10 or more children or wants 5 to 10 or more children? Also I would like to hear peoples thoughts on families this size.

    Thank You In Advance

I have six. My oldest is going to be 39 in a couple of weeks. Then the are 36, 35, 30, 28, and 6. The six year old was adopted when he was five months old. Having a big family is great in a lot of ways. My six year old is very much like an only, since he is so much younger and his siblings all live so far away.

I am a mother of six. One girl-13 and five boys-10-8-6-and twins-5. I love having a big family and would have more but my body is all babied out.
    Blessings,

Hi everyone thanks for the responses. I have a 18 year old boy which I raised as a single father since he was 11 months old, my present girlfriend has a 13 year old boy and we share a 8 month old girl together. She wants 1 more but I would really like at least 5 to 7 or more. Am I being selfish for wanting this from a mate?

    Be safe and well.

We have seven kids ranging from 21 down to 7 months. Best to have gotten started a bit earlier to come up with five to seven more, but I admire your desire to have a large family. Think about it, I will be 60 when my youngest finishes school.

I'd love to have a big family but I don't know how many pregnancies and labours I'm willing to go through. My other half and I have 1 son now and will have at least one more. I'd like a girl so if we have a boy next there will probably be a third.
Lol, I just hope we don't end up having a million boys before a girl comes along. :)

I have a big family, I grew up with 6 brothers and sisters, and now have more of them.
Brad and I are pretty open to having a big family ourselves, but as Moro said, I might be over-estimating myself... but I think if we wanted to have anymore than three, we'd adopt instead because it's giving a home to someone who already exists.

Hmm...I feel that this is largely up to the woman. Not that a man doesn't have veto power over having more kids, but if a woman doesn't want to be pregnant that many times, you shouldn't try and convince her otherwise. It's easy for you to say you want more, but women nearly always end up doing more of the physical work involved in childcare, plus that many pregnancies can be very taxing on her body and you should respect that. Also, I would consider adoption, because humans aren't exactly an endangered species...
