the last concert i went to was Against Me! in Austin. it was a fucking great show. anyone who hasnt heard Against Me! should really check out their stuff. about a week before that i saw AFI with The Explosion. another really good show. lost of people dont like AFI, but i do, so suck it. and, The Explosion put on a damn good show.
The last concert I went to was in Toronto at the Kool Haus on the 2nd of November(this year). The opening bands were The Matches, Craig's Brother , The Starting Line and they opened for Yellowcard...It was awesome I had so much fun!!
hmmmm...technically, the last gig i went to was to see 'Adrenaline' play at the start of the summer in my home town.....'Adrenaline?????' I hear u lot ask. Adrenaline are a group of guys from my school and they are an amazing band. Munky ( the singer - dont ask abt the name) is one of the best singers at school and is just a really great frontman, the rest of the band are amazing live too. They were playing a gig at the local town hall a few weeks ago. They have changed the bands name more times than their bloody underwear since last year - they were originally 'conspiracy'. The last 'proper' gig i went to was Incubus at the Glasgow SECC in may - during my exams. peace and love xxxxxx
Squarepusher in chicago. I remeber the date too, the 18th of july. It was a great show. In fact, it was the best show I've ever seen. Before that I saw RHCP feat/ snoop dog. Yeah, it was alright.
I saw the Violent Femmes at the Ventura Theatre, that was back in september, i guess that means i have to go to a show soon
umphrey's mcgee in columbus at the newport music hall before that was yondermountain string band in morgantown wv at the metropolitan theatre
Velvet Revolver last Monday at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto Such an amazing show, I had an awesome time...My voice still has not come back...
The last few good shows I have seen are The Dead, Bruce Hornsby, Dave Matthews Band, and last but certainly not least Bela Fleck & The Flecktones.
I saw The Darkstar Orchestra on october 16th. If cover Bands dont count, then the last concert I was at was The Dead on July 27th. I am seeing a pattern here........
The Doors 21st century and Velvet Revolver sound like good shows. I saw Slash in the Snakepit, but not with V.R. or in Guns. How does Ian Astbury sound live? I'm sure he's no Jim Morrison, but you know... The last show I saw was November 3rd and it was The Scorpions; it kind of took away from the sting of John Kerry's defeat the night before the show. "Here I am, rock you like a hurricaine!". haha I think I'm probably the only dude around here who likes '80s metal.
