There is a small local diner that opened near my house. I have frequented it often after work. I have been there a few times without shoes and when i am wearing shoes i always slip them off once seated. Well i stopped in last night and the server seated me and of course i slipped the shoes off. After I finished my sandwich, she brought out my check and a plastic bag, she said her sweetie i am sure these are yours. I found then while cleaning a few weeks ago. We both had a good laugh.
I can understand that happening. When you barefoot way more than you wear shoes you can easily forget you went in there with shoes on. It happens to my wife and I all the time because we agalso go everywhere barefoot
Yes, i must have forgot i wore them in. This diner is very barefoot friendly. I have never had a problem and have noticed at least one other guest who dines there barefoot.
Wow at least you got your shoes back . And I love going to dinners and restaurants barefoot. I have never left my shoes at any dinners or restaurants. I’m always barefoot but if I did wear shoes I do know I would leave my shoes there because I would forget that I had shoes on my feet.
Thats why i left them, i must have forgot i wore them in. This diner is great and doesn’t have a problem if i am not wearing shoes.
When I was a teenager I left my shoes in a little dinner that we stopped at I never liked wearing shoes so I took them off . And when we left I forgot them . My dad got mad but later it was ok. My family knows that I never like wearing socks or shoes I prefer to be barefoot.
