Just got back from a gov class and our group has decided on a really cool project. We're going to illustrate how decriminalizing pot could provide quite a bit of cash for education. Just thought I'd throw it out there and see if anyone has any ideas, comments, research on the subject?

Damn, i wish my gov. class was like that. We just talked about breaking and entering and possesion of a bag of "magic white powder"

You could go on to say that all the paper and paper products teh school uses could be made from hemp paper. And alot of the schools food could be made from hemp seed and hemp seed oil, ie break, cooking oils and such.

(though i do actually think that in opur generation, hemp will be relegalised, and come back as the key industry that it used to be)

i think the govt must get more money than the money they spend on catching stoners, by jsut keeping it illegal.

Hemp itself has existed for a a long while (early China, right?). It was in Laredo, TX that our country got the first shaft against the Mexicans and that bad bad weed. Up with the mota (they brought the mojo for sure).... and NO they don't make more money by keepin' it illegal in the states, they spend a boatload.
