well, I am a but surprised..either people dont care about Otis, or dont know....I cant decide which is worse......

 

"Im just sitting at the Dock of the Bay, wasting time." I will always remember this song as justifying my view of how necessary leisure time is. In this world of super accomplishment, sitting on a dock just looking out at the water on a regular basis could get you the reputation as a slacker or a "'waster of time'". I love to do nothing a good deal of the time. It is in these timeless moments that we are truly in the present. Otis seemed to be proud of just sitting on the dock, enjoying his own company and thoughts, and just watching the tide roll away.
"Wasting time ??" I don't think so.!!!!!!!!!!

Otis Is definatly the shit. Will always listen to him. At least he recorded his music so people can remember him another 40 years to come.

 

I had never listened to Otis, but because of this thread I downloaded: Sittin on the dock of the bay, its a fantastic song, what a soft voice Otis had !! Great music thanks !!
