The other day I made lettuce opium. I took roughly a ounce of wild lettuce i had harvested outside, and mixed it with rubbing alcohol. I let that sit for about 4 hours, then i filtered it and poured it into a dish. When all of the alcohol evaporated, I scraped up the black-and-green goo and mixed some scuff (The powder from a bag of weed) with it.

To use it, I heated a paperclip until it was orange hot. After it was heated, i pressed it to the goo and inhaled the smoke through a straw. The onset took roughly a minute, the room began spinning and i felt stoned off my ass. That feeling lasted about 10 minutes, then it died down to a buzz comparable to weed, and that lasted three hours. It is defiantly one of my favorite 'legal' highs. As for dosage, I used a pea size of the opium. Has anyone else tried this? I'd love to get your comments.

What do you mean, you mixed it? Grind it up?

Since the skuff was powdered, i smushed the 'opium' and started rolling it over the skuff. I then played with it in my hands for three minutes, untill i couldnt see green powder. You dont need skuff; it just makes the high better.

Ohh. I cut it up, and then used alchohol. I would shake the jar every now and again, then before i filtered it, I squeezed the lettuce over the jar to ensure that i got as much 'opium' as possible.

Gotcha... sounds like something I'd give a whirl at least once.
