So what do you sound like? What kind of American accent do you have that makes it distinguishable from any other American accent? Can you tell what region you are from based on your accent?
Well I guess being from the south I have a southern accent. I can't tell though probably because it's so unnoticeable when compared to all the stronger ones I listen to. Someone from another part of the country could probably hear one though.
usually american nuetral. but i've picked upa texas style oilfield twang from dave over the years. it's still pretty mild.
Smooth... My accent is smooth as ice... I have no idea what I sound like, when I record my voice and listen to it, it does not sound like what I hear when I talk.. Thusly, leaving me extremely disappointed...
ummmmm...Canadian? This thread reminds me of a video on teens we watched in psych once... It was really funny cause everyone had these really strong Jersey (that's what I think it was...r's like w's?) accents...It made me laugh..I know it's mean and wrong, but I couldn't help it...
Apparently, I say "aboot" according to Americans. I say "pop" instead of "soda" and "kaw-fee" instead of "koi-fei" for coffee.
I know!!! It's so weird to hear a recording of yourself... you are like, god do I really walk around sounding like this?
I know, it startled me at first.. I was like, nah, that can't be.. I think I sound much cooler in my head than what actually comes out.. And when I hear my voice, I'm like, ah cripes, that is extremely annoying...
