Hhhmm... sounds like she's already given up on the situation. If she's telling you that she's not sure if she's in a place to have a boyfriend right now, I think she's trying to let you down gently. She doesn't want to come out and say, "I think we should break up." But in truth, it seems like that's what's happening anyway, and you're holding onto this because you love her (I know the feeling... I've been there). Wishful thinking and hoping can only get you so far, though. Right now, I think you need to have that talk with her. Ask her point blank what she wants. Tell her that you just need the truth because wondering is harder than knowing how she really feels.
