real e.t.s don't look that much like deformed humans. they look more like other species entirely. no reason exists what so ever to assume otherwise. granted most of them may stand upright for the same reasons we have evolved to do so, but that is where any natural tendency to otherwise resemble ourselves ends. the greys may well exist, but they are only one species among billions (who are very unlikely) to resemble ourselves that closely.

so i think the real "lol" there, is you know, humans denying the reality of the diversity of the possible, by telling each other what to pretend. whatever their motivations for doing so.
