Microphones pick up Sarkozy and Obama's Netanyahu gaffe: "I cant stand him, he's a liar..." "You're fed up with him? I have to deal with him every day." http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011...ffe-microphone http://uk.reuters.com/article/2011/1...7A71ZX20111108 http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-15635476
"accidents" of this kind seem to happen often I suspect that at least some of the time, it's a way of publicly telling off a head of state, while hiding behind the pretense that it was just an accident
It reminds me of when Gordon Brown was caught of tape calling a woman a 'Bigot' during the 2010 UK election campaign. The right-wing press loved it and tried to turn it into a massive election disaster - but it didn't affect the polls at all and many people agreed that this woman was a bigot!. Just proves politicians think the same as us sometimes and just don't say it!.
