On books that dont make scense , I got this book on psychic self defence . The author rambled on for 100 or 200 pages on this Broadway play ( 1960 s some where ) how bad it was . The self defence method took maby a page or two and did not make much scense . I was glade I got it at a V.N.S.A. sale for about 50 cents . Some authors have no idea of what they write . Today we have on line forums and blog sites , most ever thing is on line some where. desert rat
What if someone selling a book, isnt just trying to sell a book? Authoring good information would just be a hobby for me. The proceeds would certainly be welcomed. When looking for a good book, I see how many other books the author has pushed out and what some of the reviews are just in case I agree with desert rat . I do most of my reading online anyways, there's a wealth of uploaded books and knowledge , some hundreds of years old.
Not ever thing that is written in a book , or on line makes scence . Some thing that works for one person may not work for some one else .
Who was said, "Don't believe everything you read"? I think it's called . . . Critical Thinking. Do they even teach that anymore???
And you could say the same for any type of book, not just a metaphysical or spiritual book. Cook books, childrens stories, science fact books - trying to sell a book.. etcetc
Some religions try to sell a book, so to speak. We should all make our own, that's a good idea. I'd much rather read random people's weird ass pamphlets than religious ones.
