Looking to form or join an already existing communal environment

Hey there, are there any folks in the northwestern region (Cascadia area) that are looking for people to join or help establish an eco-friendly, anti-corporate co-housing community? I'm absolutely committed to making this happen and I'm searching for others who are equally dedicated to building an alternative lifestyle outside of the mainstream consumer culture.
I'm expecting to be out in the Cascadia region by this fall, so please get in touch if you think we can talk and possibly work together. But please, nobody who will flake out, I need real people who are serious and not hyperbolic. And please, none of the negativity frequently experienced on this site.

I'm in the process of getting a movement started, it's growing in popularity and I know it will continue to as more and more people know about it and the word gets out. It's about time we begin learning how to do things on our own & become self sufficient so that we can eventually move out into the land and live with true freedom. To find our roots, to learn, live, and advance ourselves. There's no doing this in today's society as everything is RUSH RUSH. The lack of caring and lust for money is killing the world.

Forests are being destroyed for no good reason, and animals are losing their habitats. We must learn to respect nature and everything that lives in it. We must stop land ownership or at least stop supporting it, it leads to greed and the endless search for wealth/money and it pushes animals to search for new homes.

I won't ramble on too much about things I've already said though, there's just too much on my mind for my fingers to get it out fast enough. Click the image in my signature to see the thread on this subject and to get new info on the progress.

cool, thanks for all the replies!! the hipforums are SWARMING with revolutionaries and counterculturalists! I swear...the members in here for the most part are truly isolated from the vast progressive movements in the U.S. So much to the point where they aren't even aware of its existance. Truly sad and pathetic.
