Ok, I'm as tired as the next man of lame rehashes of Beatles music, but this album is really really great! George Martin did a beautiful job melding in the songs, remixing them, adding some ebautiful touches here and there and some gorgeous transitions... I adored the album. They actually improved on Lucy in the sky with diamonds!

Oh, I've been really curious about that...it sounds pretty cool! They included a lot of really good songs it looks like.

I bought it also. I love how they mixed tomorrow never knows and within you without you. You wouldnt think those songs would fit together until you really hear it.

I saw this on the television the other day....... a commercial for it...... and I thought how lame....... another beatles compilation just in time for the holiday...... but george martin and his son remixed and reproduced these songs....... so it may be interesting! I might actually get it.....

I thought the same thing until a coworker let me hear her copy. It's beautiful. The sitars and tabla on Here Comes the Sun... the solos crossing over between songs... lovely.

I'm listening to this album right now. It's one of those 'the more you listen to it, the more you appreciate it' sort of albums. In my opinion.

It's a awsome album and I read an article after it came out, I'll try and find it, but they (not sure who said it) felt as if John and George were right there with them. Couldn't find the article, looked for a while and I can't remember where it was from.
