I wasnt sure where to put this thread. But i want to try and have the simplist, cozy room possible.

I sleep on a good spring mattress which is on the floor. I have some of my own hand made boxes where i put my stuff and a made a coffee table for putting stuff on too (woodwork in high school rocked!!!)

But the problem is i want to put my clothes in something low slung like the rest of my room, but not have insects get in them too. And i want something cheap, but nice looking.

What do u reckon i should do???

Depends on what you want by low slung and what kind of clothes you have. If you dont have any full length skirts /dresses you sould go without a wardrobe and make a rack wooden box frame with a fabric cube inside with seperate compartments for different clothes. Or you could make the wardrobe only high enough for your longest piece of clothing.

You could put a chair rail or a low shelf with shaker pegs around the room to hang your clothes on.

There are some great stackable baskets and bins available nowadays. We got rid of my daughter's chest of drawers and replaced it with plain bins. It is much nicer. It takes up less space and holds more stuff. And, they are easy to move.
