LSA from HBWR to LSI

I am a lab chemist who has made a ground breaking discovery on how to convert the LSA from HBWR seeds to LSI in 3 super simple steps.

I am a lab chemist with decades of experience studying psychedelics, having been sober for over 6 years.

The 2026 book "LSI, Ancient LSD, Secret of the Eleusis Kykeon and Vedic SOMA", describes the history of the Greek Eleusis Kykeon and India Vedic SOMA ritual psychedelic beverage and how I successfully simulated these ancient brews over 5 years ago to arrive at psychedelic effects just as powerful as LSD but beyond LSD like a combination of ALD-52 and mescaline.

The effects of LSI are described and how she was discovered. HBWR or Hawaiian Baby Woodrose seeds was a strong possible candidate for SOMA, described as a vine. Claviceps Paspali ergot infects and grows on the cereal grain barley of ancient Greece. HBWR seeds and Claviceps paspali ergot are ancient rich sources of LSA. The Priest served the psychedelic kykeon beverage to 300 initiates every September like clockwork for 2000 years.

I discovered around 7 years ago how to convert the LSA from HBWR seeds to LSI or Lysergic Acid Isovaleraldamide in 3 super easy steps in less than 1.5 hour using only a few over the counter common materials and a cereal grain in order to simulate the Eleusis kykeon and India Vedic SOMA. The trip reports are recounted in the book. Decades ago, I took LSD hundreds of times, Ayahuasca over 140 times, and Bridgesii cactus tea over 120 times and yet found this LSI to be my absolute favorite "ultimate" psychedelic at the time.

In the book I also describe several of my other psychedelic discoveries such as the psychedelic brain receptorome discovery, how to make THH or tetrahydroharmine and the important role she plays in traditional Ayahuasca, aloe vera enhanced penetration Ayahuasca capsules, and zero nausea Bridgesii cactus tea.

I've felt more with this LSI, LSV and LSCr combo than with any traditional psychedelic except for mescaline that I was an extraterrestrial being, immersing myself in new sensory phenomena for the first time. Where LSD heightens and clarifies the sense of hearing, this Eleusis kykeon brew simulation produces auditory hallucinations, heightening the hearing sense but also causing sounds to be quite different than normal. 15) The next morning (I would typically get 6 hours sleep after the experience) I felt re-born with a massive serotonin "reset". I would go walking in nature with my shih tzus the following morning and all of nature looked as if brand new with a curiosity of nature's divinity.

Note: Morning glory seeds did not work, only HBWR seeds worked to simulate the kykeon and Vedic SOMA in the experiments in the book ages ago...my results with up to 150 morning glory seeds were extremely disappointing (even below threshold effects), I believe the mg seeds are mainly 75% clavine alkaloids with less than 25% LSA, the levels of LSA in mg seeds being probably around .001mg per seed vs HBWR seeds at .04mg per seed. The morning glory seeds resulted in zero entheogenic effects, no euphoria, no stimulation, no visuals, and even no physical symptoms like dilated pupils.

Eleusis Kykeon and Vedic SOMA theoretical simulation Materials list:

1) 25 HBWR seeds, approximately .04mg LSA per seed.
2) 0.001g scale
3) One oversized shot glass for the spinning of the seed dust, and one regular shot glass for the fridge, and a 6 ounce half pint tall canning jar 4" tall x 2.75" wide.
4) magnetic stirrer with 3/8" x 1" long stir bar that can spin easily and fast inside the shot glass or canning jar.
5) everclear (95% grain alcohol or similar high proof alcohol)
6) coffee grinder
7) mortar and pestal
8) long pyrex brownie dish (9" wide x 15" long)
9) 2 razor blades
10) a fan, and a hair dryer to use for last 5 minutes of water evaporation from the pyrex dish (optional)
11) 3 grams of the secret herbal substance very high in isovaleraldehyde, valeraldehyde & crotonaldehyde.
12) distilled or spring water
13) DL tartaric acid powder is preferred or 100% pure citric acid powder can be used, if using citric acid powder, simply use more of it to get the ph to ph=4. Chapter 5 question:

When you performed these experiments, why didn’t you go above the equivalent of 120ug of LSD?
I did not feel the need to exceed the equivalent dosage of 120ug LSD (subsequent experiments) as I found the resulting psychedelic experiences to go above and beyond anything I could have ever hoped for. I give a trip report after each experiment forming a combo of LSI, LSV and LSCr.

I have been reading here at hip forums for many years, hello to everyone. But yes, this is my first time posting. This subject is also being discussed at the "Hamilton Morris reddit", has 65 upvotes, and has been confirmed to work by another person there in the thread "lysergamide adducts". He said it is "very potent" and "comparable to LSD". Links at bottom.

In the book, pure LSA extract from the HBWR seeds (done in a super easy step) was stirred with 3g of the Aojiru young barley powder (comes in a nitrogen sealed packet for freshness), as the Aojiru barley contains not only extremely high levels of isovaleraldehyde, but also valeraldehyde and crotonaldehyde for a triple psychedelic combo that feels just like ALD-52 (anxiety free version of LSD also discovered by Dr. Hofmann) and mescaline combined. Yes flame_assay, thanks for question. Everclear (ethanol) has a natural ph of around 7.33, don't get hung up on measuring the ph, as it will drift like you mention. Simply drop in 30mg of DL tartaric acid powder in the beginning, and if you can't find DL tartaric acid powder (auction, high media store, etc.) just drop in 40mg of citric acid powder for this step, and use 10mg DL tartaric acid for very last step, or you can add 20mg citric acid powder instead.

As time goes on, and long after I am dead, others will make improvements to my procedure, and find that only 10 minutes stirring instead of 20 minutes stirring may work just fine for the 2 stirring steps, it will evolve.

Don't worry about the ph as the conversion from LSA to LSI + LSV + LSCr happens in the liver anyways via an in-vivo condensation reaction. We are dropping the ph "just in case" the reaction proceeds externally as well. I have even taken the brew 2 hours after a heavy mill of chili with 75 grams of protein (I'm a bodybuilder) and the brew still worked fantastic, that was the time I used 40 seeds converted to LSI, and it felt identical to 160ug of LSD, but even beyond LSD like a combination of ALD-52 (anxiety free version of LSD) + mescaline at same time, with extreme euphoria, hours of closed eye colored visions and heavenly music enhancement all night, and the most beautiful colors I've seen in my life, not to mention the constant diamond like shimmering of all visuals...and profound spiritual revelations, insights, and healing.

 

Hello Hip forums, I have been reading here for at least 15 years, my first post, nice to meet you all !

Vecktor (advanced chemist like myself, from 1998) said to me (personal communication 20 years ago, when I had discovered LSH):
"You have probably rediscovered something that has long been a curiosity, for example on the now defunct blacklight site there was a TLC posted of morning glory seed extract treated with (1) methanol, (2) acetaldehyde-methanol or with (3) acetaldehyde in ph=4 water. Both the extract treated with (2) acetaldehyde-methanol and with (3) acetaldehyde in ph=4 water showed a clear difference in the alkaloid profile, with a shift to several new non-polar spots which couldn't be identified. Very likely the LSA converted to LSH (LSA + acetaldehyde adduct = LSH). IIRC Erhlichs was used to develop the plates so these were indole compounds.
In Chapter 4 and 7 of my book, I also provide 4 scientific papers which back up my successful experimental results."
