Depends on what you mean by mature. It gives you the ability to see the world as a child might see it, unsullied by the layers and layers of encrusted culture violently thrust upon us as we age and 'mature'. So in that sense, no. In the sense that all culture tends to produce immaturity in the relationship between its victims and the world, then maybe.
what does this have to do with me loving acid? just because im christian and im straight dosent mean i cant like acid... im an artist dude... show some respect...
actually when im on it i think about how cultures of the past and the future are all pretty much the same and how nothing has changed really and that the internet is like lsd its self plus other stuff lol ^_^' but after its over i feel like ive accomplished something and that i learned something and i feel older
yeah bullshit here's what you posted... I've never heard anyone who's taken acid refer to themselves as being straight and It didn't sound like to me when you said 'straight' you meant as in 'not being gay'. I wont even touch the 'nearly rich' part.
i've never had it :/ gonna wait til the right time in my life, when Im not so stressed.. love reading about it tho
i think you misunderstood me dude -_-' i was refering to my sexuality and when i was younger i was like upper lower class and as i got older i became upper middle class sooo yeahh
It personally helps me mature in the way that I'm am able to see what really matters and what I can stop worrying about.
No, it's just another chemical. It can provide the insight and potential to spur a person on to want to improve themselves and grow, but it is far from some magical, miracle substance that "matures" a person and makes them grow older. I knew a couple of brothers back when I was very involved with LSD who's idea of a fun night was too take a couple of hits of acid, drink some JD then go out and beat some poor victim half to death. They said the acid made it more fun to hospitalize someone. Sounds real mature to me. Does anyone here remember good ol' PeterPopper? He took acid a lot and would post some of the most asinine shit here. The best was when he posted how he and a friend essentially raped some poor girl who was close to comatose drunk and high-fiving each other as she laid there crying. Sounds real mature to me. LSD, like all psychedelics, are merely substances that can allow a person insight into themselves and their relationships with others and the world at large. Or they can be abused and provide nothing but giggles and laughs. Psychedelics are not miracle substances that will change a person for the better. They can only provide and work with what is already within an individual. Couple that with a person's intentions and motivation for using them and you will come up with the end result of a psychedelic experience. So again, No, LSD is not instant maturity in a pill. To think so is immature and naive.
i dunno man before i took lsd i looked like this: and now i look like this: explain that one with your fancy logic.
This thread wat. On the topic of maturity and LSD. I think LSD combined with me thinking over my personal experiences of the past are what made me 'mature'. LSD has always made me feel like a child at heart who has been reborn again by the end of the trip. It's a double edge sword, I've seen people who take LSD mature but I've also seen people being egotistical assholes because of it (the 'I'm better then you because I take acid' kinda deal). I think LSD just like any drug can bring out who they really are inside as human beings, it takes down those walls we have up.
