this is a dress i made 2 years ago..old i know but i hardly have any new photos!! you cant see very well but some of the patches have butterflies and bugs on them made out of beads and gems

 

this is a costume i made in march for my mate karl (jafar!) for my disney themed birthday sad i know but his costume rocks lol



this is my final piece that i created for college two years ago...my friend kitty is modelling it, she was the only person teeny enough to fit in!! woops..she had to be carried onto the catwalk!!



and this is just a top i made last summer from some fabric i found in a junk shop..unfortunatrly it died a very painful death in the washing machine..i was so gutted..it was the brightest top ive ever had!!

 

i have a top design in my brain that i plan to sew this afternoon...but at the mo im feeling so lazy i dont know if itll happen :S been really slack lately which is sad becuase usually all i want to do is sew...but i think when you start studying the one thing you love...it can make it not so exciting anymore :S

 

i like your stuff, especially the first and the last one. the last one is really great, do you do poi?

 

yeh i do..i started playing around with my mates poi last summer then bought some kite poi of my own at a festival. then i went to uni in september only to find out that they had a poi society!! which is so cool...so now i poi all the time, with kites, flags, strobes and fire...i love it so much! do you poi?

 

no, but i really want to! i don't really know how to make them myself and in stores they are a bit expensive i think. but i'll figure something out to make them myself

 

oh do it..youll be addicted once you start and summer is the perfect time to do so

my first poi were just tennis balls in the end of tights!!just knot them in a spin!! altho tights tend top be very stretchy so theyre not great..but longs socks work well...

if you want to make actual kite poi i can send you the pattern, they real simple xxxx

mmm yeh!! ive just been reading the posts really..partly cos im not too sure about posting up my latest stuff and partly due to lack of photos ...but my clothes making has been on hold for too long recently..so hopefully the thought of posting up pics of my clothes will get my ass in gear and make me try harder! hehee
plus i need to start selling...im poor and its poo

thankyou :0 its pretty poorly made, wasnt much of a seamstress at college...im learning pattern cutting and sewing on my course now and rapidly realising that i make clothes in a very unorthodox way! but its just so much fun to throw fabric on a dummy and play...pattern cutting is doing my head in

yup definately! altho i think im gona have to start making things properly if i wana sell :S i normally just make to fit me...which wont be very helpful

aww thankyou! i never really wear the patchy dress..i dont find it free anough in the skirt for my liking..id sell it but as i said its made so poorly lol but il make some more, and neater next time!

this is a group photo of me and my friends before going out for my birthday last march...im sorry its so massive :S im in the centre..i was supposed to be princess jasmine altho i didnt look much like her!! lol! but i made my outfit and also josh and karls, who were jafar and aladdin.
my top was a strecth fabric bandeaux top, gatherd in the centre. the trousers are wraparound (my favourite kind of trousers!) made out of green upholstery fabric...you can barely see them but oh well!! lol
