Whats good all, I figured it was abut time for me to get off my ass and show you all my little setup. Here are the specs:

400w mh, made by Sun Systems
grown in promix w/ added perlite
Pure Blend Pro Veg/Bloom
Liquid Karma
Hygrozyme
Calmag (when needed)
Temps are always 70-80 degrees
pH is always kept 5.8-6.1

Right now I have some plants in early veg, they are about 2 weeks since popping outta the soil. The strains are Tahoe Blue (some type of sativa blueberry), Sweet Warp (Texada Timewarp x Sweet Tooth #3), and SourDiesel IBL x OG Kush. I also had some G13Diesel (G13 x Sour Diesel IBL) and Strawberry Diesel (Strawberry Cough x SourDiesel IBL) but my bastard cat like to eat seedlings, and you can gather what happened I'm sure. I just transplanted a few days ago, since I have a smaller number of plants now (only 8 left) I'm gonna throw them in bigger bags, veg longer, and grow some bigger plants. :reddevil:

Nothing all that special here, pretty boring time are far as pics go. I'm going to start LST in a few nodes, should be a bit more interesting then. Sorry for the bad quality of pics.

 

And of course I have to throw in some pics of grows past. Nothing special about these plants, but the smoke on all of them was fantastic. This pics are old though, I'm aiming to double the yield I got on these with the LST (hey, I can try, right?). The plants in these pics were about 10 days from finishing.

And of course some dried AK47, cured for close to a month. This pheno was unique, no sweet smell that AK is known for, this one was straight mustyness. It smelled like gym socks. It was good.

those seedlings are looking sweet man, mine are 17 days from germ now and are huge ,but the space between the nodes is way bigger than yours.they look nice and compact compared to mine.

 

What kind of lights are you using? If you can manage to lower the lights without messing up your temps then go for it. I actually had some problems with stretching when these first popped, I forgot to lower the floros and kept them about a foot above the seedlings, checked on them a day or so later and they were all falling over.

 

hell yeah buddy! Lookin good! Clean setup, and good genetics aswell. That cured AK looks superb! Keep up the good work and keep us posted.

 

Well it's a week later and I just fed tham again a few minutes ago. The Tahoe Blues are really growing fast, the slowest right now is the SDxOG. The swwet warps are just doing their things, all the plants are hungry which makes things alot easier to deal with. I figure that I'll update again with pics in a week, sometime between now and then I'll start LST.

Ok so it's been a week. Here's the update, not much has changed. I have the lamp a little less than a foot over them so they are staying pretty short an stout.

If you look in the bottom left corner you can see the tahoeblue with the mutation. I figure this one leans towards the blueberry parents, from what I hear this sort of thing is common with blueberry. It's also got these ultra short and really fat leaves, never seen a plant like it before.


Here's another shot with the other two plants in it, I gotta a hard time getting them in frame without taking them out.


Here's a random shot of one of the tahoe blues, they are growing quick.



They were just fed yesterday, I'm stilling going easy on the nutes but I figure that in another week I can up it a little bit. Also gonna start LST soon, to lazy and busy to do that today.

Alright so right after I posted those pics I LST'd them bitches up, got it outta the way and what not. So far in these few short days the results have been awesome, this is gonna really boost my yeild I can tell already. The tahoe blues are doing the ebst, one of them already have 5 small tops. I'll post pics at the end of the week.

Yeah I veg and flower under the mh, I lose a wee bit of yield but end up with tighter and frostier nugs than i would have gotten with the hps so it's all good. To be honest I'm not totally sure when I'm gonna flip to 12/12, I've never trained my plants and I've never grown this small an amount of them so I'm just wingin' it. Maybe transplant into 5 gal bags when they show sex, veg another week then flip it? Who knows at this point, I'm just doing my best to keep them healthy.

 

How many good sized plants do you usually grow and whats the yield per plant?

 

I usually flower out 8 plants, right now I'm starting with only 8 plants. 7-8 zips can be done with a 400w pretty easily, so about an ounce each.

In other news I just got 2 packs of doublestrawberry diesel off of seedbay. An incross of strawberry cough and sourdiesel, and for only 40 bucks each. With I could start them now...
