I'm not sure if any of you might be in a similar boat or have had some of these problems and have any advice...

Here goes (I'll try and make it short)

I get bronchitis/ Pneumonia a few times a year. If I get to the clinic early it's just bronchitis and they give me antibiotics and send me on the way. Zpack usually. if I wait about 5 days Its pneumonia - same results.

Anyway I've taken to the habit of just going early and not having to have to go through the nightmare of coughing up blood etc.

Well I was just sick again and went back to the clinic (Which by the way is at my work we have in house nurse practitioners )

I saw a new one who said - you know maybe you actually have asthma. They pulled out my chest xray readings from the last time and it says this.
Compared to previous, persistent peribronchial thickening remains, however no focal infiltrates have developed. Small hilar calcifications are still noted.
IMPRESSION: No focal infiltrates, mild bronchitic appearance.

So this time they sent me on my way with an Albuteral inhaler.... Which I have not desire in taking....

Do any of you have lung problems - do you go to a pulmonary med Dr or do you have any natural effective ways of dealing with persistent pneumonia's. I'm tired of being sick but am even less interested in taking antibiotics multiple times in a year. Are there any type of lung strenghtening techniques???
