My fiance and I have been together almost 17yrs and the sex has actually gotten even better and we are madly in love. :love:

It definitely deserves its own thread. Love is the best thing you can do with your life. Here is to another 17 years of the sex getting better!

 

I stand by what I said, totally not worth it's own thread. Or maybe I'm just a bitter hag.

 

And this thread could help people to realize that love is still out there, and there isn't so much reason to be bitter.


I think under any normal circumstances, this wouldn't deserve it's own thread, but America doesn't seem to believe in love anymore.



4 years, so far; and the sex is always getting better, too; but what I really dig is the bond getting stronger and stronger the whole time.

happiness, and especially happiness in a relationship has increasingly become a status item and something that people compete over

sometimes people trumpet their happiness to try to make others jealous, which is an ugly thing

the way I see it, people who are trying to make other people jealous probably aren't that happy

I took the post to mean that the op was just sharing the story of her happiness with us

generally speaking the happiness of others is something that can make us happy too. even if you are not happy, at least somebody is!

it's only really a bummer if some total asshole is happy

so I don't think that you need to be depressed by this thread

 

I wasn't trumpeting my happiness or trying to make anyone "jealous". That was NOT my intention at all. Guess I hit a nerve. Yikes. The forum is called "Love and Sex - True Love" - what are you suppose to post about??
