Making joints with supplies from around the house?

hey all, I'm kinda a noobie stoner (only smoked about 12 times in my life) and I've been having to sneak out at night and use homemade bongs from gatorades or apples (lol). These work fine, but I've always wanted something thats alot easier to conceal and smoking a joint would seem cool.
However, i'm not in the position to get any joint rolling supplies, so i'm kinda out of luck.
i heard someone say you can't use regular paper cause its too thick, but would bible like paper be good? or newspaper?
(don't worry im not christian, lol)
what would i use for the "roach"? Would the marijuana keep burning or would i have to light it on every toke?

hmm? how old are you? i'm going to assume you are under 18 because if you weren't, you could just go buy papers. i have never rolled a joint using anything but papers, but something thin would work. paper might work, it may be to thick though, but i can see it working. bible paper may work, i think the newspaper wouldn't taste to good, due to the inks, but that would probably work. as for other suggestions; i'd say that maybe something like pretty thin would work. as far as the roach, i've come to find that a little piece of an index card works.

 

Im pretty sure you can use bible paper. You can use any kind of paper for that matter, but the smoke is really harsh. When i needed papers I even used to use post-its because they had a sticky edge , though i wouldnt advise using regular paper.

 

yeah. i have this sketching book which has realllly thin paper which i use.
i generally use small bits of thin cardboard for the roach

 

was the sticky note any more harsh then the paper? less?
is a sticky note long enough length wise for a roach? it kinda seems like a square.
plus since i dont have any tobacco will the thing keep lit?

For about the first year of smoking, I smoked at school, and no one ever had papers, so we always had to use notebook paper.

It will work, but it tastes REALLY bad, and hurts your throat. So I wouldn't reccomend it. One thing you CAN do though, is get a piece of gum, chew the gum, and don't throw away the wrapper, scrape the foil off of it,and use the paper. it's thinner than notebook paper, and it doesn't taste as bad, it stills tastes kind of bad, and it's nowhere near as good as a paper, but hey, it works, and yeah, it'll stay lit even without tobacco, just don't roll it too tight. I never put roaches at the end of my joint, but I've heard people using cardboard for 'em. Me and my friends are pretty getto about it, we use two nickels for roach clips if it gets too small.

 

so do you get one piece of gum? like a stick of gum from a gum package? or do you take the whole package thing?
do you mean that you take the piece of gum out of its foil thing and scrape off the foil? isn't that a little bit small for a joint?
i'm clueless when it comes to the size of rolling papers etc

 

you can use paper fast food straw wrappers. thats what I used to do, didn't tast any dif from a zig zag

 

you mean the little white papers that come wrapped around the plastic straws at most fast food places? those things are as wide as half my pinky.... thats a small joint (if you can even make one) oO

 

yah thats what I mean. if your good at rolling you can make a long thing joint with about .3 to .4 grams in it. Once you open it up it's not much smaller then a #1 paper.

You can use the bible paper or a reciept from the store. I used to use post-it notes, even though they are thick as fuck, they burned relatively evenly. They were very harsh though. I would use the bible paper or reciept paper or phonebook paper.

 

Just get someone to buy some silver rizzla's... or try buy them yourself... what's the worse that can happen?

I would just wait till you got proper rolling papers.

Hey man trust me on this, i would say to use a receipt or "Orbit" gum rappers. But dont use the rappers that are on the gum, use the wrapper thats just inside it holding the gum(you'll defiantly see it). Also what works well is shoebox paper ive done it and its really good expect for the minor harshness but i recommend it next to the receipt and oribit gum wrapping. good luck man and smoke a J for me

 

Damn kid, just find someone who'll buy you some paps, they're only like, 1.50 or 2 dollars... Smoking any paper is rough and not too healthy, but at least rolling papers are thin and make to be inhaled.

 

Dude, cigarettes are already rolled. all I do is roll the tobacco out with my fingers, and then use a golf tee or pencil or something to shove the herb in there. Then All you gotta do is roll the filter out of there the same as you did with the tobacco, twist the end, and Voila!--you have a perfect joint.

 

If you aint got papers why are you wasting weed by burning it with any of that stuff? I say if you cant get a paper, or a cigerette to empty, you should toss the green in a bong/bowl

 

Yeah man, bowls dont waste as much pot as joints and blunts do either.
