    who has seen this movie?
    I watched it last night.... wasnt one of Jay and Silent bobs best films.. but I found some parts funny... mainly only the parts they were in ... wow..

    thoughts??

    It was okay. I thought it was going to be alot funnier than it actually was,is all.

    i watched it a few years back. i had a good laugh, but my humour has changed. its doesn't have much substance.

    My humor has changed as well but this is a pretty good movie.

    I also watched it a few years ago, it's ok but I think I like Clerks and Chasing Amy (also movies with Jay and Silent Bob) better.

    mallrats is a wonderful movie... i still love it and the humor hasnt changed for me one bit.... clerks is better than mallrats thats agreeable.... but i dont find chasing amy to be better than mallrats

    yeah, it's got great nostalgia value...i still find it funny based on that, but if it was to come out for the first time tomorrow i might not like it as much if that makes sense.

    i agree clerks was better in my opinon every diagrees, mallrats was kevin smiths(not silent bob the writer/actor/directer/producer of all his/firends movies has a real name) secound best film, great stuff

    mallrats is ok, my favourite is chasing amy, but all kevin smiths films are brilliant in their own way. following the success of clerks he was pushed by the studio (i forget which one it was now) to make another film, they gave him loads more money and said there you go now just make a film that'll make us rich. apparently he wanted to make dogma around that time but knew that the film he made after clerks could never match up to everyones expectations so he decided to go for the no brainer movie instead and made mallrats. i think it was a wise decision.

    i studied kevin smiths films at college, it was a good year:)

    mallrats is no clerks, thats for sure

    it has its moments though......

    the fat guy staring at the magic eye for hours is classic though....... like someone said "its not a schooner, dumbass, its a sailboat"
