I rolled a silverado over today... the right side of the roof caved in, lost two front tires (the right side caused the wreck, I put a spare on the other right before it happened, as it had two bad front tires), hood dented, lost a mirror (smashed into door/imprinted) and an entire side is dented, though it stops at the right quarter panel. Lost the tailgate too... it actually came off the hinges by touching it. That's it... I'm getting a Toyota. Everyone who has a wreck that I know ends up driving a 4 cylinder Toyota Tacoma.
Tacomas are good trucks...it won't run you cheap, though, even used. I hate Fords, they're pieces of shit. I've got an Explorer, Eddie Bauer edition, and I've been having so many problems with it. We've only had it for maybe 3 or 4 years, about 60,000 miles, and it's turning to shit. I mean, they're comfortable and everything, but American-made cars are just...really shitty. If you don't mind my asking, George, how in hell's name did you roll a Silverado?
Ahaha....you rolled a Silverado you haven't even paid on....I feel for ya. Glad you're ok, though. Toyota....hmmmm....good luck there. My daddy had one and it was a piece of crap.
Well, depends on what year and model too. I've had problems with brake systems and transfer cases before on 97s, though their gas mileage is good. I notice alot of manual Toyota trucks.
I always thought it was keep on the sunny side of life. Like the song by the Carter family... A.P. Carter is up there with Bill Monroe and Earl Scruggs, to me. There's a dark and a troubled side of life There's a bright and a sunny side too Though we meet with the darkness and strife The sunny side we also may view Keep on the sunny side always on the sunny side Keep on the sunny side of life It will help us every day it will brighten all our way If we keep on the sunny side of life Oh the storm and its fury broke today Crushing hopes that we cherish so dear The clouds and storm will in time pass away The sun again will shine bright and clear Let us greet with a song of hope each day Though the moment be cloudy or fair Let us trust in our Savior always To keep us every one in His care
Nah man, what he was quoting was from Monty Python's 'The Life of Brian' Some things in life are bad They can really make you mad Other things just make you swear and curse. When you're chewing on life's gristle Don't grumble, give a whistle And this'll help things turn out for the best... And...always look on the bright side of life... Always look on the light side of life... If life seems jolly rotten There's something you've forgotten And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing. When you're feeling in the dumps Don't be silly chumps Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing. And...always look on the bright side of life... Always look on the light side of life... For life is quite absurd And death's the final word You must always face the curtain with a bow. Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow. So always look on the bright side of death Just before you draw your terminal breath Life's a piece of shit When you look at it Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true. You'll see it's all a show Keep 'em laughing as you go Just remember that the last laugh is on you. And always look on the bright side of life... Always look on the right side of life... (Come on guys, cheer up!) Always look on the bright side of life... Always look on the bright side of life... (Worse things happen at sea, you know.) Always look on the bright side of life... (I mean - what have you got to lose?) (You know, you come from nothing - you're going back to nothing. What have you lost? Nothing!) Always look on the right side of life... Too bad 'bout the truck man. Toyota's are good, I've had a few, but I wouldn't trade my jeep for the world.
go for the yota man but go for the older ones the ones where they were just "toyota" and not even the tacoma yet my friend has one and i dont' even know how the fuck it still funs
Toyota Hi-Lux. Yeah, I like those models... it's just that they're hard to find. Everyone keeps them and runs them into the ground around here. You won't find a single one for sale around here unless it needs some work and someone is just looking to get rid of it for another truck because it's too old...
well find one and work on it maybe? or just don't feel like doin' that? makes sense either way but it seems like right not some kinda truck is gonna need some kinda maintenance
