Spintronics is a newly emerging field, that has already produced a quantum gyroscope on a chip, that can give you an accurate position to within a few inches, anywhere on earth. I suppose if the earth's rotation continues to change, you could update it, or simply die eventually. By giving commercial industries an entirely different technology, they can continue to develop their own spintronics technology in secret. Basically, spintronics offer the fastest, cheapest, and easiest possible way to both crunch numbers and connect electronic circuitry to optical. They can even be used as nonvolatile race-track memory. Think of light as made of little corkscrews, and which way they turn decides how they're absorbed, while matter is made of tiny whirlpools, making using whirlpools more reliable and useful.

I have a better name for the invisible energy that forms all whirlpools and spirals in our reality... THE SUCKING FORCE... It exists everywhere, not just your toilet bowl or those lips... It's responsible for gravity, the spin of the earth's core and black holes. Everything is being SUCKED!

Oh yes, the SUCKING FORCE applies to magnets too, as well as relationships. The only thing keeping us from being sucked into the sun is our spin and rotation/spin around the sun, that viewed over time appears to be a spiral.. So keep on spinning like a dervish.
