How messed up is it that alchohol is allowed to be legal in America and not weed. Most of you are probably just thinking wow this kids a stoner and dosent know what the hell hes talking about but just hear my views. I mean if after every sports game people sat back and smoked instead of drank there would be no riots, fights, people getting killed by drunk drivers, and also people falling out of windows. Weed makes shit peacefull and yet you could go to jail for years because of it after not harming a single person. I just think that all the old people in the white house need to stop thinking like hard ass's and look at the reality of it all. Any place that supports and advertises that your allowed to get fucked up by alchohol but if your caught with a joint you spend the night in jail really needs to stop and take a look at whats actually happening. Also if you drink 20 beers your going to be absolutly trashed out of your mind to the point of you dont know whats going on anymore, but say if you smoke 20 grams youll be fucked but in a different way where you'll still have a grasp on reality. Well anyway thats all i really have to say about it i just wanna see how other people feel about this wether you agree or not.

I don't beleive in drinking pot or any kind of drug abuse that isn't exactly whats persciribed for my health...but i do agree, alcohol probobly does cause more violence, and all the talk of pot as the biggest gateway drug is shit, it is tobacco.... BAN TOBACCO AND ALCOHOL!!!!!!!!!!!

I wan't saying ban everything, but why are two harmful drugs legal if your over 18, but pot isn't...it makes no sense, and i was a lso making reference to the argument that most people use to kjeep pot banned...that it is the gateway drug to the "hard" drugs...
I can! The biggest argument here is that it would completely cutout organized crime from the drug trade. Secondly, people would know that what they were getting was pure and fewer people would OD. Fewer people would use heroin and crack and all other drugs if they were made legal. There is a certian "forbiden fruit" effect where the illegality acutally attracts people to the substance. More people drank alcohol in the '20's durring prohibiton than before or after prohibition.
Think about this... Before the "War on Drugs," US Cocain consumption was only around 80 metric tons a year. Today, that figure is around 500 metric tons.

The main (and pretty much only) reason that marijuana isn't legal is because the government couldn't tax all the growing of it. But hey, just smoke it anyway. I'm sure you've shoplifted before, so don't let the law bother you when you smoke.

Everyone thinks that jus because drugs are legalized people are going to do them. This is bullshit, everyone knows doing crack/heroine is bad for you but its up to you to make the decision to do it. Also there would be a drastic decrease in gang violence, because they would have nothing to kill over. Im not supporting the use of heavy drugs at all i have seen frist hand at what they do to people, but all the money spent locking up harmless drug users is wasted because if someone has it in there mind that there going to to something( such as heroine/crack) there is an excellent chance that there going to go and fucking do it. If someone is in there house smoking a joint what negativity is that bringing to the world at all. It's already happening I doubt that there has ever been this much hate for America throughout the rest of the world ever. Man....I sure do feel ashamed for being an American.
