I dunno if this test is real, but after 1 year a hamburger IS STILL AS GOOD AS THE DAY THE GUY FORGOT ABOUT IT! www.youtube.com/v/mYyDXH1amic Other Mcdonalds food tests: www.youtube.com/v/j-ljW5YEdao I cant eat @ mcdonalds w/o risking having some kind of reaction!! (Its quite aweful) I dont know what preservatives they are using,BUT ITS TERRIBLE!! I emailed the C.E.O. of Mcdonalds and the prick didnt bother returning my email!! I am very upset about the way things have gone and continue to go in this country!!
I don't know where the article is, but but one of the two brothers, i believe it was Richard Mcdonald, was asked questions about why he was ok with selling such harmful food to the population. His answer was along the lines of "well its not my fault they keep buying it, but i'm sure glad they do". I remember the whole interview was pretty disgusting as far as his answers go. They were valid though because people are dumb enough to eat that shit.
I think that test was real - though that's just based on what I've read, and not everything we read is always true.
I am so sick of hearing this stupid ass bullshit. That burger is not "still as good as the day the guy forgot about it," it's dried out. Mold forms when moisture sits long enough, but if the burger is out in the air, it will dry out long before mold gets to it. It will still look as good as it did to begin with, but it definitely won't be the same quality. It's not just McDonald's food that does that, it's pretty much all food period. Better stop eating if that's your only reason to boycott McDonald's.
I can't eat fast food based on the ulcers I have, but when I see those videos, I definitely believe they are true. When it comes to the second video, I think the bun/condiments/cheese/whatever is molded but I'm sure the actual Big Mac burger is fine. My boyfriend was a manager there after high school, I'm going to have to ask him what exactly the ingredients were on those boxes of patties
They might not have been listed. Where I work, our burgers come in pre-formed frozen little frisbies (haha, that's not really what they're called, but they fly pretty far!), and the box doesn't say anything but "beef patties" on it and all the garb about only being for use in our particular restaurant, blahdy blahdy blah. I don't work at McDonald's, and the restaurant I do work in is pretty different from most fast food, but I can say I have seen burgers that have been forgotten in some dark corner until someone went to do deep cleaning and they did indeed look about the same as they did when they were first cooked. But they were definitely not edible by any standards. Anyway, I'm not saying McDonald's is the greatest thing in the world (even though I am in love with those damn bacon cheese angus burgers), nor am I saying anyone should eat there, but this argument against them just drives me insane.
I eat there way too much. It's the damn sausage McGriddle too. Probably the worst thing for you on the entire menu. If the McMuffin's eggs were done the same as the griddles, I'd at least downgrade.
I don't like hamburgers, but McDonalds has a killer Cesar Salad and I love the $1 fruit and yogurt parfait / hot fudge sundae. With that said, I've come to hate McDonalds. I ride my bike by 3 separate Mcdonalds on my way into work in the mornings, an their fucking patrons are so obsessed to get their diabetes-in-a-bag that I nearly get ran over every single time I pass one of those three stores. It makes my blood boil.
Burger King is way better than McDonalds, but I dont really like either very much. Taco Bell and Wendys are where it's at! Whatever that means...
Do they sell the same crap at mcdonalds OUTSIDE THE USA?? (Canada, etc) or is it better quality food? And i wonder also about PRIVATE RUN MCDONALDS IN THE US,do they sell food with whatever bothers me also? (Like mainstream stores) I dont know if anyone would know this or not..... I love the food but i dont like the reaction i have sometimes after eating there!
i don't know this firsthand, but i almost guarantee that privately owned mcdonalds use the same exact ingredients as corporate run stores.
burger king>everything else>mcdonalds i havent ate a burger there since i was 11. and im not changing i recently tried a bk whopper and liked it.
I spoke to someone with Mcdonalds Canada and they said they use NO PRESERVATIVES UP THERE....... So i could probably eat there w/o issue! (Even @ the cooperate stores (Its too bad i cant get there )) The US is the worst country as far as fucking with food, putting garbage in it and it makes me sick!!
