So I met a guy down at the river today who had been to the Rainbow Nationals last year. He was a younger kid, say early 20's driving a little Toyota 4x4 with a hard shell topper on it. He was looking for some camping areas and information and such. He and I exchanged political views, I supplied some hopefully helpful information and all in all it was a pleasant 1/2 hour conversation. I left to go home from a day of swiming and BBQ and he went to the river to enjoy the late evening waters.

Im not a rainbow just a trucker with an open mind, he was a rainbow tolerant of an old trucker and the forest and rivers a place we both enjoy.

Sadly we never exchanged names. Just a friendly "hey hows it going" then talked about all sorts of stuff, looked over maps he had and pointed out some spots I liked. Directed him to some people who were decent and some that were like minded that knew more cool places. Chated about politics, some enviromental issues and safe water that comes out from the springs and some of the locals and stuff. I guess it would have been a smart idea to get a name but normally if a person does not offer I dont ask.

If it helps it was a grey Toyota 4x4 standard cad with a matching color topper that had sides that opened from wich he pulled items he needed. He was rather thin, hair was a kinda brownish, talked about a man named TC or something that the rainbows had a memorial for. He explained the layers of the circle of the rainbow gathering and it was rather cool. Again just a pleasant evening talk, around 6pm Jacks Fork River MO.
