what do you suppose the obsession with middle names is? you ask someone, "whats your middle name?" they get all bent out of shape like its a secret. Like if you know their middle name you're going to automatically know their whole history. "why do you want to know?" *shruggs* "ust thought i'd ask?" but then again why do people want to know middle names? hmm
people don't want other people knowing their whole name it's like it's sacred i know i used to never tell people my middle name it was like the one thing i could keep to myself or something then eventually i was like, eh, whatever
i just dont like my middle name but i dont care if people ask. i just make sure to let them know i dont like it.. dont want them to start calling me it
yeah, most ppl i have met usually really dont like their middle names. i used to not, but i've grown quite attached to it now but i do know what you mean.. it seemed like in elementary and middle school especially, everyone wanted to know ppl's middle names and no one was willing to give the information out. now that you mention it, it is quite strange...
My dad uses his middle name because he doesn't like his first. His first name is Blaine. My middle name is Matthew. Meg came up with a name that I'm all stuck on. Savannah Rae. (No touching this name.)
We call my oldest son by his middle name most of the time...except when he is at work...he has the same first name as his dad & grandfather. My middle daughter has 2 middle names. My youngest daughter's middle name is my last name.
Dis meg. Yeah. I Have dibs on Savannah Rae. My middle name is Rae too, btw. I've never been embarrassed about my middle name or anything like that.
i know this doesnt have anything to do with middle names but i want to name my son jesus but not pronounced the english way i want it to be pronounced the spanish way "hey-seus" its a pretty killer sounding name, and if i have a daughter annastaia
If i had to throw a reason out there as to why poeple want to know it is because you middle name is hardly ever used, so knowing someone elses indicated a level of intimacy. But then again, I tend to over think things. Mine is Kenneth by the way. It is my maternal grandfather's by the way. This post is over by the way.
i think middle names are exciting! i only never told people my name if i wanted to create a thrill;a conversation!
well when i was little......now i'm on to bigger better things!....one word..... nicknames! haha im just joshing ya
i had confusion over my middle name. at one stage i didnt have one and my name was actually Billie-Anne or Billie-Ann but then i found out it was Billie Anne so my middle name would of been Anne. But, then i read ma baby book and it was Ann. . it doesnt really matter cause it sounds the same and its just an "e" but, yeah i dont know if its ann or anne. neither does my mum all she knows is that there is no hyphen. i know you must all be wetting your pants over how exciting my story is
it takes way to much to thrill me, I don't have a middle name, thinking about getting rid of the first and last name too. I don't suppose I will be the only person left on earth soon, but just think of all the free canned goods there would be if I were.
my husband has 3 middle names, which I think for some reason is cool... the first names of his two grandfathers and a great uncle. My middle name is Renata, and even though I suppose the name in itself is alright I've always hated it because it's my grandmother's name and the family has grown to kind of hate her.... (she's a bit of a loose cannon)
I have the most awesome name ever, thats a fact :H I have two middle names, one of which no one can pronounce
