Might be at a loss this April 1st :

Hello! Its getting harder and harder to fool people on April fools day because they know what day it is and have their guard up. Unless I can come up with a better prank I might have to do the following.

On April fools day I will go out to the wood shed and cut off one of my fingers with the chopping axe. Then I will wrap my hand in a cloth – put my finger in my pocket and run into the house and say to the wife – man I just cut my finger off - look at all the blood! When she says – ya right looks like ketchup to me – I aint no April fool – I will pull my finger out of my pocket and say – HA - April fools! Cheers!
