Mirrors

Does anyone else find mirrors creepy? I guess it's instilled from numerous horror movies.

 

i don't find mirrors creepy,but i dont like loads mirrors around.one is n the bathroom is enough.

 

bloody mary, bloody mary, bloody mary...

 

Creepy? No... But I do have several magick mirrors around the place...

 

I have dozens of mirrors. they assist when Im walking around in panties checking out my ass..

you dont want your mirrors, send them to me..

One protects the house and can also be used for scrying. Several are hung in various corners of the Altar Room to disrupt time and space. Erin the crow has a mirror also that she seems to see things I can't see.... so she has fun with that. :2thumbsup:

 

gotya ty! i thought you meant magic in some other way.erin is probably seeing spirit crows in her mirror.we have a tradition in our family.when someone dies we cover the mirror.

 

I only freak myself out with mirrors when I'm baked. I look into them and concentrate on my eyes and middle of my head and for some reason I know I don't really exist in the body shell. And I wave my arms around and watch myself. But I don't know why I'm doing it, and she just stares back at me. =\

I like mirrors when im eating mushrooms.

 

I guess I should specify I only find them creepy when really baked like someone else said. I always thought I'd find them creepy on psychedelics but the opposite was true.

One time back in the day we were all tripping, sitting around in the kitchen... After awhile I noticed one of the guys was gone... Odd, nobody saw him get up and go anywhere. (we were all really really frying) As soon as we collectively realized this fact that one of the guys disappeared we heard this scream from the living room. I was one of the first ones in there and this missing guy was staring into the mirror with his hands over his eyes screaming "MY EYES! I CAN"T SEE MY EYES!"...

I never laughed so hard in my life... I mean it seriously hurt to laugh and I couldn't stop...

 

I had a couple mirrors in my room but i took them down.

 

I love mirrors - make things more spacious ....and..... for 30 years I had an alcove bed with a 6 x 4 mirror on the ceiling of the alcove.

Finally had to take it down - going rusty on the back, but wow making love in a completely mirrored ............... u neva know if you're coming or going

Actually I was thinking about the movie Escape from The Planet of the Apes (1971) when the lead US scientist suggests the mirror-image is analogous to time.
