I'm a firm supporter of the LBGT community. However this idea that the rainbow flag is the 'gay' flag has got to stop. It stands for UNITY AND EQUALITY OF ALL PEOPLE. All races, all orientations. If you're flying it and your selfishly applying it's meaning to just the LBGT community then SHAME on you. The LBGT community didn't come up with the symbol and the people that did believed that we should all be equal and united. Why the hell would anyone pervert that and then exclude others from it's beautiful message? Seems pretty hypocritical to me. It's fine to fly it. It's a wonderful symbol but please be clear on it's message. It's not 'yours' it's 'ours' :)
So from now on if anyone asks you what your rainbow flag stands for you can tell them proudly that it means peace, unity, and equality for all peoples under the sun. That you are my brother/sister and I am yours :)

Hmm generally I don't care about rights, reasons and causes but I agree a rainbow flag should stand for a complete unity. Though some homophobes and uptight people would hate to be linked to a rainbow flag lol and that alone would cause problems.

:D My brother! Hey man they probably won't fly it or wear it but that's fine. Don't see where the problems would arise.

I remember a time when I'd try to be overly straight due to peer pressure and a rainbow flag would definately not be the straightest thing in the world. That alone would cause a rift.

Anyways I believe the mutl-colours should stand for racial rights too but I know that ain't quite equal yet either.
