Someone stole some weed and paraphernalia out of my car last night. I think it was my nephews friend that stayed the night. They left my wallet with cash and debit cart untouched, but took my grinder, my stash, and some papers. I'm in quite a pickle because I don't know how to handle this situation. I'm waiting on my sister to wake up and I hope shell know what to do. They're only 13, and Confronting them about this without knowing for sure might be a huge mistake. But just letting it go might be just as bad. Any thoughts?
when im stoned ive often left my stash some place, and forgotten where. you will probably find it and think wtf..
If you're sure you did not put that stuff elsewhere ask them if they took 'something' out of your car. You can probably see from their faces if they did it or not. If you're not sure and don't want to specify what you're missing, yeah, then I'd be in a pickle as well
They only way you’re going to find out is asking them point blank. Say I'm not mad I just want to know who took my stuff and if you didn’t take it, I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions
I know exactly where it was because I went to my car and smoked right before I went to sleep. This morning my glove box and console were both left open and my shits gone. My brother in law is going to take them to the park to play some football and my sister and I will look through his room. Shhe doesn't want my nephew to know I smoke unless absolutely necessary. There's a punk kid that lives down the street, learned from a neighbor that he's broken into cars before and taken random stuff. Next time I see him outside I'm gonna go have a chat with him.
Who cares if they are 13? Wether they are 13 or 35 wouldnt you want to know? Just ask them as politely as you can? I would confront them.
If its just as bad not confronting them as it is to, then do it, because at least you are searching for truth them assuming. Know what i mean?
Was there any damage to the car, or was it opened by a key? If theres damage I'm sure it wasn't them, it was probably that neighbor kid you mentioned. But if it looks like it was opened with a key then it's pretty safe to guess it was your nephew and/or his friend. How did he know it was in there though if your nephew doesn't know you smoke? Sounds like a pretty confusing situation all around
Yeah, I've followed this thread with some interest, since I personally think 13 yrs olds are a LOT SMARTER than (apparently) most ppl think. lol Anyway...what has happened?
Found out that several other cars were broken into that night. They got my friends laptop, and some prescription meds. I think it's safe to say that it was either the punk kid down the street or someone else coming through the neighborhood.
I agree with you. When I was 12 I was sneaking joints away from my dads stash. That's why I had the initial suspicion. I'm planning on having a talk with him about Mary Jane, but I think it's too soon for him now. His childhood has been drastically different from mine and I don't think he's ready to understand.
There was somebody going through the neighborhood breaking into cars, and they didn't even steal your wallet, with cash in it? Lol..
Mufukkers know, when I come home at 430 in the morning my car horn beeps twice, and reverberates through the whole dead neighborhood. My shit is securitized.
I know right? Some of the neighbors say that this kind of thing happens a lot. Someone said their sunglasses and a couple hats were stolen but they left $30 in the cup holder. It's like their doing it just for the fun of it. I'm going to miss that grinder. It had a see through top so you could watch the herb get shredded...
Why in the world would you leave your wallet in your car, especially with cash in it? I can see someone leaving some change in their car (many ppl do)...but cash...night alive! (not counting your wallet most probably has identifying stuff like you driver's license, soc sec card, etc.) I just had to ask. Surely you will stop this practice? :mickey:
My brother in laws car got broken into, well his car was unlocked. He was sleeping on the couch and I guess whoever was going through his car they must have leaned over the horn and it went off, all they took was his change. He had a bunch of expense of fishing stuff in the back, didn't even touch the stuff. It was weird just his change
The Only Reason i Can think of is whoever was going threw the cars (we used call it car hopping) Was probably very young, in which case they are sared of getting caught (when in reality they wouldnt get more than a slap on the wrist based on age) And by him/her being scared of getting caught they where on a in and out mentality. He hoped in the car opened the glove box or wherever you had the shit stashed seen it, grabbed it, and got the fuck out of there before somebody could see him. He wasnt doing a theroul check of the car.
