moe. summercamp in IL

I really want to go to summercamp this year...anyone leaving from around new orleans? let me know if i can hop a ride!

 

I'm going to SummerCamp, but I live in MIchigan...any cats from Michigan interested in going, let me know, there's always room for more!

when the hell are they gonna post the dates? they said mid-february and its almost march! hopefully soon!

The dates are on the summercamp website. Same as headymoechick just posted. The fest is 5/27-29 with early bird camping on the 26th. The mid-february announcement is supposed to be the line-up. I think Jay is working hard on getting a better lineup than any other year, so we might be waiting a little longer for it. I have no doubts that this fest will outdo itself this year. Hope to see many of you there!

shit i didnt mean to write "dates" i meant "bands". yeah this will be my 2nd year summercamp and i cant wait! i just saw on the website the said bands would be announced mid-february and now it is approaching march. its gonna be a rockin time though, i hope they book MMW again

 

I think early bird is a little bit extra but not much. Tickets will probably go on sale soon after the lineup is announced. I'm hoping for an MMW late night. Nothing better than grooving in the barn.

I'd highly suggest checking out the Station. They are a band from Springfield, IL and are actually quite good. Last time, all I remember was boozing early in the morn and kicking it to the Station. Good times!

 

I missed the Station because I overslept, but I'd love to see them this year. Also, Railroad Earth or Hot Buttered Rum would be nice additions.

i can't wait for summercamp..3 days of moe baby!!!!

this year i decided i'm going to stay all weekend..where as last year i just attended one day..

w/ nearly 300 kids showing up to their first ever headling show at the canopy, groovatron has most likely secured an evening slot!!

the second day sucked ass last year!!

I am super duper excited too. THis festival kicks off my "summer of delilah" similar to the "summer or george" on Seinfeld, except I plan to do a lot more cool stuff.
