i bought a couple today from the local cafe/bakery...they remind me of what my grandma used to make...
molasses cookies are one of the only types of cookies worth eating. dont get me wrong, most cookies are good when still warm.... but if you dont intend on gobbling down a try of piping hot cookies in a stoned frenzy, molasses cookies are among the only keepers. along with peanut butter cookies and madeleines
Can't say I am a fan of molasses cookies... Oatmeal are the best cookies ever, and the only cookies I eat! You're darn tootin'...
Oh, I love molasses cookies and ginger snaps. Yum! Nesta, what's a madeleine? I don't think I've ever heard of it. I love pretty much all cookies though, I don't think there was a cookie I've ran into yet that I haven't wanted to eat. eace:
i'm not big on cookies as a general rule, anyway. i do love making oatmeal cookies, though. i think i'll make some. i have everything i need, i think. i need comfort.
They taste like basement and moth balls... I'm kidding, I just don't like them all that much, but I know tons of people who would sell their left arm for one...
some madeleine cookies fit for proust himself: they're a light, fluffy, squishy spongy cookie good for dipping in tea or coffee molasses cookies are great though...sweet and spicy, yumyumyum
