The pills that were around 10 years ago were way different then what people call molly today. They were hard pressed to start and way more euphoric. They also lasted much longer than an hour and a half. Not to mention i can buy molly at a head shop down the street. Can i get a whitness on this?
No you can't. What you are buying is either BK-MDMA (methylone) or MDAI or something. MDMA is called "molly", and it's illegal. And it's still around.
Yeah, Molly is slang for pure MDMA. If you're calling anything but pure MDMA Molly then that's wrong. It's like calling 2c-e "Lucy" or Salvia "Mary Jane"... it's not against the law, you can do it if you want but it's wrong and everyone will know you don't know what you're talking about. Unfortunately I remember reading something on here a kid was saying that basically everyone in his town refers to the headshop party pills as Molly which is just sad. The same thing happened when everyone started calling plugs for stretched ears "gauges"... a gauge is a form of size/measurement, not the name of the jewelry - that's a plug or eyelet, etc. But now it's been going on for so long you can't reverse it. Incorrect terminology is just a pet peeve of mine because it leads to misinformation. Better to have all the facts and details straight from the beginning. And for the record, Molly is still around, she just has some really good hiding places

GODDAMNIT! forgive me for getting heated; in a pissed mood at the moment; anyhow, "molly" is slang for MDMA as aforementioned...but furthermore..."molly" is slang for MOLECULES...molecules of 3,4-METHYLENEDIOXYMETHAMPHETAMINE! SO yes...molly is MDMA...that's just how it is IMO
this is almost as stupid as the" real LSD isnt around anymore" myth. Of course someone can sell you methylone bath salts as molly. They can sell you baby powder. Doesn't discount the fact that quite a few folks out there are still getting shards of MDMA on the regular. Its still around, the same molecule 10 years ago.
Slightly off-topic, but someone mentioned mephedrone and methylone up there. Anyone have any ideas about why those two did not blow up here in the States as they did in UK? According to my informant (my 17-y-o son), they are unheard of in his circle, while e, 'thizz,' and molly are known (the latter being uncommon). When I heard of thizz, I wondered if it might be one (or more) of: bk-MDMA (methylonoe), 4MMC (mephedrone), 4MEC (methadrone).
Thizz is just a ghetto slang name for ecstasy. Mephedrone and methylone did blow up my nose and down my throat They were sold way more openly in the uk then they were in the states, they were found easily at head shops and I believe some vendors even had a delivery service. The online market was huge in the uk and ever since operation web tryp US vendors just can't be that overt. Even bouncingbearbotanicals an online distributor which sells fucking plants that are psychoactive got raided this year. This may be speculation but from what i hear the uk ecstasy was complete garbage for the past few years too as where we get pretty good ecstasy at least in big cities usually. (Sf, La, Miami, New York, etc.)
