This dude's awesome. If everyone who opposes medical marijuana saw this interview, most of them would likely start thinking at least a little bit differently:sifone: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlAHF7dlYKY&feature=related"]YouTube- Montel Williams on Medical Marijuana - Part 1 (6/29/2010) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XLFTl3p8VfQ&feature=related"]YouTube- Montel Williams on Medical Marijuana - Part 2 (6/29/2010) This is my favorite part of the interview though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06z9izxl20Y"]YouTube- Montel Williams: I'll use pot until I die
he's one of the main members of the MPP... the people that ACTUALLY do things to help the legalization of marijuana... unlike the lazy ass NORML kiddies playing hacky sack and getting stoned saying they are making a change in marijuana laws
MPP is the shizz. So is justsaynow.com. I wish I could afford to donate some money to MPP. I've gotten a few letters from MPP within the past few years, after registering or voting on their website or something. I can't remember. I wish I was in the position to be able to donate a large sum of money to them Yeah Montel is the shizz. People respect him, so he's a good person to have on the frontlines of the fight for legalization. I can't think of anyone better, in fact. He's intelligent, he's an ex-marine, he's passionate, and he's not scared to make his opinion known.
I think that squirrel is to young to be smoking what is that, squirrel stuck in a bong ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8gz_OTXy430"]YouTube- Grateful Dead │ Here Comes Sunshine 02-23-74
i could tell he was baked as soon as i started watching those haha its good though, shows people that you can certainly be very intelligent, well informed and articulate even when you've been smoking headies all day. i wish new york would go medical in the worst way, but until then, i am very thankful that are posession laws for under an ounce is a small fine citation.
I have always had a great amount of respect for Montel and used to watch his show often. He is very honest and informed about any topic he dealt with. Sad thing is he did a show about his MS and his use of marijuana to treat it. sad part is, and he even mentioned it, was that he had to wait until near the end of his final season to do it because everybody was worried about the negative backlash the show might receive. I remember him breaking down and crying as he relayed his story of sitting in his closet with a gun to his head because he couldn't take the pain any longer. Then a friend urged him to try marijuana or something along those lines and it completely changed his life. Medical marijuana literally saved his life. I remember learning of the government program when it was first started. I have read other reports that every time one of the original marijuana recipients die, the DEA sing and dance in celebration. They are waiting for them all to die to remove that "embarrassment" of the government dispensing what they (the DEA) try so hard to demonize.
I tried to rep you for this post, but it wouldn't let me yet I used to watch his show quite often, as well, and I remember seeing that episode too. Like I said in my previous post, the dude is VERY passionate about the benefits of medical marijuana, and I think he is one of legalization's strongest and most influential supporters. Much respect to Montel, for his MM views and everything else he stands for. He's an all-around good guy
Montel Williams lights up at the Maine Medical Marijuana Conference: http://www.digitaljournal.com/article/293014 one of my favorite vids of montel. you can tell he is really in pain, and not just some lazy stoner that just wants to get high.
This part makes me happy and sad at the same time. Sad that he was in such pain, but happy that the sheriff suggested that he smoke:
It's entirely possible that NORML would rather the laws stay the same providing the justification for their existence and ability to raise money.
