You know I was thinking more recently about the ownership of weapons. We need to ban hunting now. Okay, if you want to still eat meat, but the factory will process it for you. There's absolutely no need anymore to hunt. Or ride horses, wear expensive fur, watch lions jump thru hoops at circuses, etc. I was also thinking, do we absolutely need steak knives? I can sometimes cut things with my fork if it's tender enough. Butter knives we'll always need for spreading stuff I know. But I have to think about steak knives. And also I was thinking, and this going to sound a little weird. If steak knives are the only sharp knife, therefore potential weapon we can own, then maybe have different rules for them as utensiles. Rules for how the restaurants can pass them out to customers, rules to where you have to store them at home, etc. Because I know I was inpatient recently for two weeks and they didn't even allow us plastic butter knives when we ate. And it didn't seem to cause any problems.
